Namibia general information report.
The total number of human living in the world  of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights are about 6500 million Africa . The human  of Africa is close to 1000 million of which human of Namibia are about Islam, Christianity  . Namibia  represent broad culture of different , languages,  and lifestyles, which require human rights protection.. Namibia represent systems of government very broad Republic. Namibia has two good  Technicall University / Business University. University-of-Namibia, Polytechnic-of-Namibia is best one and its online links is   University of Namibia      Polytechnic of Namibia. University-of-Namibia and Polytechnic-of-Namibia is good for higher education . But  University-of-Namibia, Polytechnic-of-Namibia not offer for higher education .in human rights... Namibia is also failing to provide basic human rights for political stability. . Abuse of children and women are more common in Namibia.

Namibians achieved independence in 1990 after a bush war of almost 25 years. Inter-racial reconciliation encouraged the country's white people to remain and they still play a major role in farming and other economic sectors. In the late 1990s secessionist troubles in the Caprivi Strip, in eastern Namibia, prompted thousands to flee to Botswana. In 2002 the government declared that the area was safe for tourists. Deserts occupy much of the country; their dunes take on shapes and colours according to the elements. The country also boasts game-rich grasslands and a semi-arid Central Plateau, large tracts of which are given over to livestock farming.

  Namibia   has adopted Universal Declaration of Human Rights, 1948 and is  member state of UN human rights since  23-04-1990  .Since, all people in Namibia  are entitled to all the rights and freedoms set forth in this Declaration, without distinction of any kind, such as race, color, sex, language, religion, political or other opinion, national or social origin, property, birth or other status. These adopted human rights by Namibia  include that Slavery and the slave trade shall be prohibited in all their forms;  none shall be subjected to torture or to cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment; that none shall be subjected to arbitrary arrest, detention or exile; Everyone in Namibia  has the right to education. Education shall be free, at least in the elementary and fundamental stages. Elementary education shall be compulsory. Technical and professional education shall be made generally available and higher education shall be equally accessible to all on the basis of merit. Further :-
The Republic of Namibia is a member of International organization founded as the Organization of African Unity to promote cooperation among the independent nations of Africa. It has ratified many UN Human Rights Conventions and thus has made binding international commitments to adhere to the standards laid down in these universal human rights documents. In as far as Namibia has ratified the Optional Protocols for these Conventions, the inhabitants of Namibia and their representatives are able to invoke their human rights through these bodies. All inhabitants of Namibia may turn to the UN Human Rights Committee for violations of specific human rights..Since Namibia is an African Union Member, its citizens and NGOs may file complaints to the African Commission on Human and Peoplesí Rights. They may also file complaints according to the European Union guidelines (on Human Rights Defenders, Death Penalty and Torture) to Embassies of European Union Member States and the Delegations of the European Commission. In cases of human rights violations by multinational enterprises, they may also invoke the National Contact Point in an OECD member state. Namibia has joined the International Criminal Court, it may thus be called upon in case of severe crimes.

Right information report based on US Departments Reports, and Amnesty International and many local human rights activists is that implementation of declaration on many articles is mere formality and administration human rights record remained poor although there were improvements.  Human rights of child for education and human rights of women for dignity as given in declaration of human rights are repeatedly violated by police administration itself .Child human rights, Disability human rights, Housing human rights, employment human rights, Refugee human rights, Reproductive Rights, Trafficking human rights are repeatedly being violated and there is no check over it, by administration and adequate redresses system is not available.  Right information report is that  US Departments report: Violation of human rights including abuse of detainees; harsh prison conditions; corruption; official impunity; arbitrary arrest and detention; prolonged pretrial detention; interference with privacy rights and restrictions on freedom of the press, assembly, and association. Other abuses of human rights included female genital mutilation , discrimination on the basis of ethnicity and nationality, and restrictions on unions.

Right information report is that Namibia hosts some 8,000 refugees on human rights  basis, the majority from Namibia. This number includes some 6,600 refugees on human rights  basis living in Osire camp and an additional 1,400 residing elsewhere. Since 2006, Namibia  allow these refugees to integrate locally. Progress has been slow, but local integration remains the most viable durable solution for these long-staying refugees on human rights  basis . Namibia human rights administration continue to help strengthen the Government's capacity for registration refugees on human rights  basis,  and the provision of health, education, community services and food security to refugees on human rights  basis. The hope is that Namibian institutions will take responsibility for most such activities by 2010.
